yom teruah day of trumpets first day of the seventh month

Hello friends,

Yom Teruah is here, at sunset tonight! Be sure to make some noise! 🙂

Why? Because on one Yom Teruah in the not-too-distant future this is going to happen:

But we don’t want you to be ignorant, brothers, concerning those who have fallen asleep, so that you don’t grieve like the rest, who have no hope. For if we believe that Yeshua died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Yeshua. For this we tell you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left to the coming of the Lord, will in no way precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with God’s shofar. The dead in Messiah will rise first, then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. So we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore comfort one another with these words. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

The Vulnerable world Technocalypse is the world doomed by technology

It came on us suddenly, and shut down the world. There are now about 5 million confirmed cases of the virus globally, with well over 300,000 deaths, and far reaching effects beyond that. I don’t have to tell you about the effects, because you are still feeling them right now – no matter who you are or where you live. Everything has changed, and it will never be the same again. It is still much too soon to tell what the full scope of the aftermath will look like. One thing we know now, this experience has taught us, and is teaching us, a lesson that many of us have rarely considered – we live in a very vulnerable world.
